HPHT synthesis is a method of synthesizing diamonds by mimicking the conditions of nature.
High pressure is generated by concentrating hydraulic force on a small area.
At such high temperatures and pressures, carbon atoms dissolve into molten metals such as iron, cobalt, and nickel, turning them into micrometer-sized synthetic diamonds.
They grow together to form a composite material called PCD by sintering at high pressure and high temperature and are widely used in various industrial applications such as machining, cutting, and oil and gas drilling.
Diamond micron powder, the main product of precision polishing and cutting, is excellent in grinding and polishing delicate semiconductor materials with its fine particles. As a slurry, it cuts sapphire and silicon wafers used in solar cells, semiconductors, and other applications at high speed with unparalleled precision. The high hardness of diamond micron powder ensures a smooth surface and minimal material waste, contributing to the efficiency of various materials like Si, SiC, Sapphire but also Tungsten Carbide.
E6 offer customized micron powders for optimized performance.
Synthetic diamond wheel size abrasive grains provide the best quality for grinding a wide variety of materials in grinding wheel applications. Its unparalleled sharpness tackles hard materials like glass, carbide, and even silicon in chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP). This leads to precise material removal and a very smooth finish. For each application, the ideal diamond abrasive size and the required coating for optimal performance can be selected.
Synthetic sawgrit diamonds are the cutting edge of wire sawing and coring. Embedded in saw blades and wires and coring drills, these microscopic diamonds cut through natural stones such as granite, marble and reinforced concrete. Their extremely high hardness ensure clean and precise cutting and extended tool life. Compared to traditional abrasives, synthetic diamond produce less dust and noise and can be used at higher speeds.
CBN (cubic boron nitride) abrasive <ABN>grains tackle tough grinding tasks. It excels in grinding camshafts, bearings, hard iron-based materials such as Inconel, and superalloys. This allows for optimal material removal of the workpiece while minimizing wear on the grinding wheel. CBN acts at a lower grinding temperature compared to conventional abrasives, which minimizes damage to these precision parts.
